Des photos de la semaine

Parents we have worked hard this week! Lots of science presentations from the grade 5s and drama from the 6s. We are working hard and already on our second unit of science. I can't believe it's already February.

We are continuing to work on applying the passé composé and use it in our daily writing activities.

We have started a new morning and afternoon routine, the students enter the class and get ready for class to begin. We start with an activity that they will read independently and usually have 10 minutes to complete it. It allows the students to calm down and to get straight to work without socializing and not miss any valuable instruction time.   We are also using the agenda everyday and I encourage the students to take it out at home to ensure they are completing their work.
It is always encouraged that when learning a new language it is important to keep practising!! Duolingo and Lecture Enfant are great sites to help keep up with learning new skills.

Report cards go home in 2 weeks on the 13th of February and we have another Pd day on the Friday 15th of February.

Here are some pictures of the students hard work!
