Demain!!! La fête du lancement!

As we have been studying space and the Canadian astronaut David St. Jacques, we will be having a very EARLY and exciting event at school tomorrow at 6am.

We are having a LAUNCH PARTY!!! Une fête du lancement.

ONLY IF YOU WANT TO COME!!!

Please wear your pjs, bring your permission form, bring your breakfast, something comfy, stuffy, pillow. Bring your crochet if you want too!!! Lets make some gifts for white elephant.

The launch is officially at 6:31am but we will start at 6am as broadcasting will begin then.
Also if you would like to bring a board game from home that we could play. After the launch we will have a few hours before school starts. I have some activities for us, take a nap, play some games, kahoot quiz, make the ISS (if you have any recycled material you can bring in!!!!)

I have sent out a google form to your email so I know approx how many people are coming in.

I am very excited, but we have to remember as well that this is an educational moment for us and we have to be respectful and quiet while we are watching the broadcast!

Remember to have your parents drop you off at the 5min parking and to use the gate at the parking lot to come through and come to normal door you enter in every morning.

CLASSE DU MATIN

FÉLICITATIONS!!!!! Hayley m'a dit qu'on a gagné les canettes!!! WOO HOO!! Je suis fière de la classe. C'est une bonne cause et on aide beaucoup des personnes dans notre communauté.


La semaine passée était fantastique avec l'halloween. Voici des photos. Beaucoup de personnes a porté des costumes et on a cuisiné les graines de citrouille.

Les filles ont enlevé les graines de la citrouille.

 Les filles ont rincé les graines. 

 On a cuisiné à 300 degrés pour 45 minutes.

On a ajouté le sel, le poivre et l'huile.

Et toute la classe a aimé les graines. Une collation de bon santé!

Le touriste regarde pour les Waldos. Avez-vous les vu?

Parents: Note for you regarding the French grammar test that went home this week. I have asked for you to sign the test so I know you have seen it. I explained to them that the test mark is not a reflection of their report. I look to see if they know how to conjugate and can they use these conjugations in a sentence in the present tense. If I wrote on their test Révision- I will be giving extra worksheets for them to take home and pratise. I will also be working with them during recess and lunch just to make sure they understand.

Halloween Activities at St Isabel- Wednesday, October 31st

Students are invited to wear their costumes to school or to dress in Orange and Black on Wednesday,

October 31st. Please ensure that the costume is easy to remove and requires minimal to no make up while at school.

• No scary or inappropriate costumes are permitted. (scary clowns are banned) No masks,
• replica of weapons, and respectful of one another's cultures.
• Make sure costumes are indoor friendly.
• The school will not be held responsible for lost or missing parts.
